Xiodan Zeng
Dr. Zeng holds a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, an MBA from Oklahoma State University, and an M.A. in Foreign Linguistics from Southwest Jiaotong University, China.
Her research explores opportunity recognition, entrepreneurial funding, crowdfunding success, and the role of creativity and innovation in new venture growth. A 2023 recipient of the ABR Best Paper Award, her work has appeared in leading journals such as Creativity and Innovation Management and has been presented at the Academy of Management and Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference.
Beyond academia, Dr. Zeng brings over a decade of entrepreneurial and international business experience, including her work on the China High Speed Railway project, to inform both her research and teaching, offering students a unique global perspective on entrepreneurship and innovation.
